Attendees will be given information on how to obtain an FSA ID, and ISAC staff will be available to answer individual questions and troubleshoot any issues. Financial Aid Application Completion Workshop
During this workshop, students will be able to get questions answered to complete either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid (Alternative Application) for qualifying undocumented. These are the forms used to apply for financial aid, such as the Federal Pell Grant and/or the Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP). Many colleges also use these forms to consider students for institutional money. Individuals must create an FSA ID at least three business days prior to the workshop to be able to start the FAFSA. Students and parents use their FSA ID to provide approval for the transfer of tax and income information from the IRS to the FAFSA. Please note that the FSA ID is not used with the Alternative Application. Individuals should have information regarding their income and asset information readily available.

Don't Miss Out! Attendance Matters!
A day of missed school is a lost opportunity for social development. By coming to school every day they’re not sick, your child is gaining social skills that will land them their first job and help them learn skills such as time management, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Blue Streak Spotlight
Please join us in welcoming one of our new teachers
Ms. Mallorie Leary! We are so excited to add Ms. Leary to our Blue Streak family!
Position: German Teacher
Years in education: This is my 3rd year
Hometown: Lombard, IL
Family: It's just me, my boyfriend, and our fur baby Ava. She is a 6-year-old German shepherd.
Hobbies: I love cooking, going to the beach, riding my bike, camping, and being outdoors!
Favorite movie/movie genres: My favorite movie is Forrest Gump
Favorite teaching memory: My favorite teaching memory is when I had a small, shy German 2 class in my first year of teaching. It was a couple of months into school and this quiet group had not come out of their shells yet!! I randomly found these retro-looking flashcards in a closet at school that had pictures of clothes from the 80s on them. I gave each student a few cards and they had to partner up and share their opinions in German and say whether or not they would buy/wear each item! To my surprise, the "shy" students were talking and having actual conversations with each other about these wacky clothes!! I didn't even have to jump in or encourage them to keep going! This was the day EVERYONE came out of their shells! Since that day in class, everyone became very close, they even started hanging out together outside of school! We as a class were all close! It was a very cool thing to see and an awesome class to have been able to be a part of! We would all think about that day often and how crazy it was that that little activity was what brought everyone together!
