It’s a great day at RVA!!!
This week, we have another fun round of spirit events each day! Today, it is crazy hats day. Tomorrow, wear your crazy or holiday socks for Mistle Toes Tuesday. On Wednesday, deck your neck with a scarf or necklace. On Thursday, it's Pajama Day! And on Friday, where white, blue, and your favorite winter hat for Feelin' Frosty Friday!
We have our Winter School Supply distribution happening this afternoon at Door 20 of John Marshall High School! Come out and get school supplies and books from 12 noon to 3pm!!! We are also wrapping up our End of Course SOLs for high school students this week! For more information, there is a copy of our revised testing letter located in this newsletter. Testing will take place at Henderson Middle School. School bus transportation is available. For more information about your child’s assessment schedule, please reach out to our school's site testing coordinator, Mrs. Lara Brown (lbrown14@rvaschools.net).
We will be on Winter Break from December 25, 2023 to January 5, 2024. Please note that RVA classes and Office Hours will resume on Monday, January 8, 2024. We hope that your winter break is filled with lots of laughter and love. Have a safe and amazing winter break, holiday season!, and a very happy New Year!! We cannot wait to see you back at the NEST!!!
