A Look Back of LHS Marking Period 1
Freshman Orientation 2023
The school year started a little early for our Freshman students. The Orientation day for Freshman was action packed from the start to finish! Students began with being greeted out front by the cheerleaders and band and then cheered on as they entered LHS by our amazing staff.
Freshman then met the building administration, learned about all of the wonderful things at our school and even toured their new building.
Student Class Meetings
On the second day of school, students were able to meet with the LHS administration and learn about expectations for the 2023-24 school year. Students got to meet the new Principal, learned about the “Lion’s Path” and the best ways to touch base with their counselors.

Each month LHS has been naming very deserving Students of the Month. Students are nominated by faculty google form and must be passing all subject areas in order to be considered. The Student of the Month committee is composed of teachers and administrators who vote for 3 students to earn this recognition each month. Students are then announced at the Lindenwold Board of Education meeting, given a space of recognition in the hallway, mentioned in the morning announcements and posted on the board outside the school. The Principal calls in each student and gives each recipient a Student of the Month t-shirt.
Homecoming 2023
During Homecoming our Senior students were honored with their families/escorts and the Homecoming Court was announced during halftime! At the LHS Homecoming dance we had over 250 students come out for the event. Students looked amazing in their elegant dresses and suits. Students definitely dressed for success that night!
LHS PSAT/SAT Day
In October, LHS was lucky enough to take the school day and have about 300 members of the Sophomore/Junior/Senior classes take the PSAT/SATs.
LPS Hispanic Heritage Night
LHS was excited to host the Lindenwold Public Schools Hispanic Heritage Night. It was an evening of food, family games, celebrating Hispanic Heritage and did we mention FOOD?? Fun was truly had by all and at all levels of LPS!

Big Shout out to the production team and LHS Theatre Department for our performance of Alice in Wonderland: Down the Rabbit Hole. Our students really showed their talent on stage and behind the scenes! Thank you to all those who came out to support our kids and teachers!
