A Note From Miss Caitlyn
Dear Lincoln, Logan & McPherson County 4-H Families,
Happy New Year! Only 211 days until the start of fair season! 4-Hers enjoyed the holiday season by walking in the downtown parade to spread the word about our community and invite others to join. A huge thank you to all who came!
4-H Council would also like to thank all those who supported our dine-out night fundraiser at Papa Murphy's. It was a huge success!
The new year is a great time to set goals. I encourage you to take time and set a 4-H related goal for 2024. Your goal could be as simple as, inviting a friend to a 4-H event or completing a record book. No goal is too small. If you are new to 4-H this year I encourage you to get connected with your 4-H community. There are several ways to get involved and many volunteers and youth willing to help make your 4-H experience a successful one. Let's strive to "make the best better" in 2024.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns,
Miss Caitlyn

We are reaching out to all 4-H members to see who would be interested in doing the Special Garden Project this year. The deadline to let the office know if you would be interested in this project is February 9, 2024. Please call the office and let us know if your child is interested in the 2024 Special Garden Project so we can order their seeds. Cost for the seeds to 4-H youth is $.50/youth who signs up and due at time of pick up of seeds when we receive them in the office. With the changes to 4-H online, youth are encouraged to enroll for Horticulture/Plant Science. When you call the office we will place you on a list for the special garden project and when the seeds come in we will let you know and get you the seeds along with the educational materials including the growing newsletter & evaluation.
