A Message From the Principal
Bogle Community,
We are off to a busy start for second quarter! Fall sports tryouts have begun, and our first games take place in a few weeks. It's time to start our bell ringing ceremonies again. We are seeing students show respect all over campus! Check out our Persist Award pictures below. As staff members give out respect tickets all quarter, they will nominate a student at the end of the quarter that persisted with respectful actions and attitudes. Those students are recognized at our end of quarter assemblies.
Please remember we offer a late bus Monday through Thursday. If your student needs a place to do homework or attend tutoring, we offer Homework Hub in the media center after school until 4:45. Students can hop on the late bus right after tutoring. Don't forget to regularly check your student's Infinite Campus account. If you need help logging in, please call our front office.
Thank you for your support and for partnering with us in the education of our students.
Amanda Cook
Persist Award Winners
Right before Fall Break, dozens of students were nominated by teachers for the Bogle Persist Award. These students worked hard even when facing challenges. See the slide show for all our winners.
Step It Up Fundraiser
Next week we will be kicking off our first Step It Up Fundraiser sponsored by Student Council. Students will attend an assembly on Monday, October 23rd which will provide them with all the information about golden tickets, slushy parties, and the Day of Awesomeness. Be on the look out for this packet on Monday.
Tutoring, Homework Hub, and Late Bus
Our second quarter tutoring, homework hub, and late bus will begin again on Monday, October 23rd. These are available Monday through Thursday from 4:00 until 4:45.

Counselors' Corner
We have enjoyed getting to know your students during first quarter. If a student is in need of an appointment with a counselor, they can scan the QR code up in the front office, and the counselor will call the student down to the office.
No Fast Food Drop Off
Please remember that pizza and fast food lunches can not be dropped off or left in the office for student pick up. This includes delivery services like Door Dash. You are welcomed to sign your student out at lunch instead. Thank you for your cooperation.
Help Keep Lunch Accounts Current
Chandler Unified School District's Food & Nutrition Department is committed to providing access to healthy food for all students every day. We want to ensure students can eat a balanced meal, regardless of their account balance or payment status. This initiative allows members of the community to contribute funds to help cover the negative balance of student meal accounts.
The funds that were recently donated have already been used to help students, so we are at a zero balance on our lunch fund again.

Chandler Lions Club Provides Glasses
If your child has broken glasses or needs a new prescription, the Chandler Lions Club can help!
The Chandler Lion’s Club's mission is to provide a pair of eyeglasses to every student in Chandler who needs financial assistance. If your child is in need of new glasses, please print out the attached form to fill out. Once the form is filled out, return it to the Health Office. Once a coordinator from the Lions Club authorizes the application, the parents will be notified. Then parents must call Chandler Eyecare to make an appointment. The Lion’s Club handles the rest! (The optometrist’s office’s contact is listed in the upper left hand corner of the application form.)
This program does not just apply to Bogle; it extends to ALL students in CUSD. If you know a student attending a different school in Chandler that needs glasses, their parents can fill out a form! The Lion’s Club is here to serve all the students of Chandler. Students have the right to see clearly in their day-to-day life, but especially when they’re trying to learn at school.
