Principal's Message...
I apologize for being a little late this week with the newsletter. It was a busy weekend for the Finebergs. With Veteran's Day Thursday, it's a 4-day work week for the students.
Please take a moment to vote for School Site Council. We have 3 members and need our families to vote for them. We have one more opening if you are interested.
PICTURE DAY is DECEMBER 2nd!
Remember that Daylight Savings Time ended this week. I hope you enjoyed your extra hour of sleep.
As always, if you have any questions, compliments, ideas, and/or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out at (714) 430-2052 ext. 52103 or efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.

PTA's Weekly Rundown!
Hello Maverick Parents,
Here’s your PTA Roundup for the week.
THANK YOU MAVERICK FAMILIES!
You have raised $6220.00 this fall! Our PTA is encouraged and motivated to work harder for you. These funds will allow us along with your teachers and Principal Fineberg to budget in areas that will be most effective in your student’s educational experience.
SUPER AWESOME SPIRIT WEAR will be arriving within the next 2 weeks. Keep an eye out for the distribution procedure coming next week.
Advertising Opportunity for Business Donors PTA is offering the opportunity to place a banner at either school with a business donation of $250. We are opening this up to Tustin Connect families first. Please reach out to Melissa Weiss at smw1196@sbcglobal.net if you are interested. It benefits your business and student!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Elementary Information
Checking Grades in Schoology: Please make sure to check grades in Schoology regularly. If you notice your child is missing points, please look at the rubric next to the assignment in the Grades tab. Your teachers often leave feedback on assignments, and students are encouraged to resubmit any assignments with incomplete scores. Please have your student email their teacher if they submit missing work so that they can make sure their scores reflect the work. This image helps to clarify.
Middle School Information
Electives: A big thank you to our awesome Middle School Teachers who have created three terrific elective options for our students. Mrs. Gullo's Pulbic Speaking Class and Mrs. Dove's PAL Leadership class have provided great experiences for our students to hone their skills. Ms. Paulson Art Class offers students an introduction to art without the pressures of additional coursework. All three options have been a tremendous addition to our students' middle school experience.
High School Information
IVC Visits TC: On November 9 during advisory hour, we will have our Irvine Valley College representative share all the programs at IVC, Deadlines, and answer any other questions you may have. Even if you are not planning on attending IVC or community college, it will be a good opportunity to learn about programs that may be available at the school of your choice. Hope to see you all there!
