We need your Help
We are in need of instructors for our Chess class (Wednesday's 2-2:50pm, gr. 7-12), and for our Creating Virtual Reality class (Wednesday's, 12:30-1:50, gr. 7-12).
This position is posted as a non-rep. position on the MSD website. Please reach out to Pexa Clark or Karen Rosencrans if you are interested or know of someone who may be qualified. Former students with these skills could make a great fit as well!
Tracy Bobsin is gratefully accepting donations (granola bars, fruit snacks, string cheese…) for her "Breakfast with Bobsin Math Lab".
A note from Karen
Parents, thank you for being a part of our "village", it truly is what sets us apart and make us special.
Thank you for cleaning up after yourself in the Gathering Room and Resource Center. Our custodial staff appreciates your help!
See something, say something. It takes a village, as they say, to raise children. Help us maintain a safe, welcoming, and comfortable community for everyone, and if you see a student making a choice they shouldn't, we are all deputized to say something - with kindness and respect.
If you are not comfortable doing that, please contact the office immediately so we can address the behavior, whatever it is....unaccompanied child on the playground, or student trying to climb and retrieve a ball off the roof, or throwing a ball dangerously close to a window, or using language that isn't appropriate in a family, K-12 setting. We need everyone's help: see something, say something!
We will try to get out front more often in the morning with our spinning sign, but please try to remember to pull ALL THE WAY FORWARD when you are coming to pick up your kids, and please don't idle in the parking lot. Thank you!
For parents of students 12 and over, and our teens...
Please remember being on campus without a parent or other adult is a privilege not a right.
This privilege can be taken away by a parent or the school, requiring an adult to be here with even students 12 and older for infractions such as:
- skipping class or repeated tardiness
- unsafe behavior
- disrespectful behavior
- foul language
- poor attendance or poor progress
Thank you!
