A Message from the Principal
Hello Cougar Families!!!
Spring is here and we are still in February! We are two weeks away from Spring Break and we have them filled with field trips, camping, animals, Grandfriends, a black history month program, and an open house for potential pre-K and kinder Cougars. Our SMORE newsletter is filled with lots of information this week so please take a few moments to look over the flyers with dates and more detailed information.
This week we welcomed the return of Ms. Perez in 1st grade and Mrs. Paris in third grade. They have new additions to the family and we congratulate them on the births of their sons. Our weekends are short, but I witnessed the championship victory of our 4th graders' flag football team and joined GH parents for trivia night. This was a great way of meeting more Cougar families and seeing our students outside the classroom. Please share with us what your Cougars do when not focused on their studies. Have a wonderful Sunday and thank you for all the support you provide your Cougars and our campus. m
Your Proud Principal of Geneva Heights Elementary,
Israel Verver, Jr.
