Principal's Post
Living in Community
Schools are a place where we learn skills, gain new knowledge, and understand how to live “in community.” Each month, the Findley students and staff come together as a school community to celebrate our positive culture. This school connectedness is especially important right now. We all need protective ways of reducing the harmful stressors associated with a global pandemic.
Classrooms applied the October theme - Beautify Your Community - to create sidewalk murals (hybrid students) and origami figures (virtual students). Take a stroll along the Findley track or ask your child to teach you how to fold a paper cup. Our monthly community events, planned by Mr. Miller and the Relationship Building Team, reinforce a sense of belonging and individual value whether the child is learning virtually or in person.
