Message from Crocker's Parent Group President
It has been a whirlwind start to 2022 as everyone adapts to the Omicron surge. I hope your families are faring well and thank you for using the Covid testing resources our District has provided, it keeps us all safe.
Please know that the Executive Board has been busy appreciating the Crocker community! We had a fantastic holiday breakfast on Dec. 7th in the transformed MPR and gave educators and staff a handwritten note of gratitude with $100. Our Board has also filled the teacher's lounge twice this month with snacks and drinks to show appreciation.
Looking ahead, we are planning (sometimes modifying) events, deciding on Allocations, and selecting next year's Executive Board. Please reach out to me, or any of my fellow Board members, with questions or concerns you might have. We thank you for your patience as we postpone and re-schedule some events.
Our CPG General Meeting has been moved to March 4th at 8:45am. It will be a joint meeting with Superintendent Louann Carolmango, so please come out to discuss all things HCSD and Crocker! I look forward to seeing you there.
Jen Salma
CPG President

Get involved, make a difference... we need you!
- RISE hopes one of your 2022 goals is to form healthy relationships! One great way is to get to know other parents of children with learning differences--learn from those with older children, pay it forward toward those starting the journey. Sign up for our confidential online RISE directory, and you've signed up in past years, make sure your entry is recent (annually updated).
- RISE always seeks new volunteers who support our mission! Whether you'd enjoy promoting abilities awareness at your school, creating social media content, reviewing books/movies, or organizing fun events, there's something for you (and almost all tasks can be done remotely on your own time)! Contact rise.parentgroup@gmail.com.
RISE supports students of all abilities to achieve excellence on their individual journeys; promotes a school community where students of all abilities and their families can thrive and have a fulfilling school experience; and strives to increase awareness and decrease stigma about learning and ability differences.
