BCHS Homecoming Parade
On Friday, Jaguars came out in force with help from all of our feeder schools in the Boulder Creek region to celebrate Jaguar Pride!
Homecoming Game, Royalty & Halftime Performances
The Varsity football game had full stands to cheer on our Jags, fireworks to celebrate our touchdowns, and an entertaining half time with performances by BC Varsity cheer & pom, The BCHS Jaguar Pride Marching Band, and concluded with the naming of the 2022 Homecoming Royalty! Homecoming week concluded on Saturday night with our Homecoming Dance at BCHS! What a great week to be a Jaguar!
October Female Athlete of the Month
Girls VBall - Maddie Sears - Maddie is an amazing athlete who is always giving 110% when she is on the court and during practice. She just passed the school record of service aces in a season, the record that she set herself last year. We still have three more games to go so this number will only get bigger.
October Male Athlete of the Month
Football - Caleb Wikoff - Caleb is a captain and a tremendous leader of the BC football program. He is a relentless player on the field, a passionate weight lifter in the weight room and a leader in the classroom as well boasting a 3.4 GPA. Caleb is a standout defensive player leading the team in tackles, tackles for loss, sacks and safeties. Caleb is the emotional leader of the football team and always works tirelessly for the program, his teammates and our school. Caleb Wikoff is the true definition of a great teammate and a leader!
BC XC
Boys and girls cross country teams have been competitive all year. We have a large group of athletes that have been consistent and working hard since June as we head for your sectional race in November. The girls placed second at the Happy Valley Invitational, we had four of the top 10 spots at the district meet. The majority of the team will be coming back next year. Both teams have freshman running varsity, including the Han triplets that have been among the top freshman in the state this year.
TSW
TSW has created "HELP WANTED!" board. All students who are looking for jobs can scan the QR code and it will take you directly to the application link or a phone number where you can get information about employment with that company. Also, we have included job tips about interview questions. The boards are located on the 400 and 500 building.
Hands on Learning in Mr. Rice's Law in Society Class
Students in Mr. Rice's Law in Society class participated in an investigative unit where they followed processes and procedures used by law enforcement in a mock crime scene in class! Students go to be super hands on as they used their observation skills and learning from class to solve the crime!
AP Biology
AP Biology was taking advantage of the nice weather and the Echo Circle to round robin regarding our cell signaling white board activity!
Grease is the Word!
