AEHS Weekly Newsletter
November 26, 2023
Good evening, Titans.
I hope this message finds you well and rested, and that you were able to enjoy time with your family and friends during the Thanksgiving Break. With the end of the break comes December, and just a few short weeks before Winter Break.
With this in mind, we are moving into the informative portion of the scheduling season. Next week we will have our electives fair and teachers and staff will be speaking with students about course options for school year 24-25. This portion of the scheduling season is for information purposes only, as students will not register for SY24-25 courses until January. Information will be shared with families as well, as we move closer to our January date.
Have a great week!
Mark Brown, Jr.
Principal

Career Advising Coach (NEW)
One aspect of the Blueprint for Maryland's Future is that Career Counseling Services (“Advising”) needs to be provided to students in grades 6-12. Similar services are provided to students regarding the college admissions process in each MCPS school. To that end, there will be a Career Advising Team at Albert Einstein HS to support the career aspect of this work, which will be lead by a designated Career Advising Coach.
I am happy to introduce you to Ms. Luciene Joseph, who is the Career Advising Coach assigned to Albert Einstein. Ms. Joseph comes to us with a number of years of experience with career counseling, and is working with our students in partnership with Worksource Montgomery. Ms. Joseph began with us on November 13, and through December, will be working at Einstein Monday-Wednesday. In January, Ms. Joseph will transition to working full-time at Albert Einstein, and half days every other Wednesday.
Ms. Joseph is currently work from the College & Career Center and in partnership with Mr. Trigo, our new CCIC, and counseling. We are very excited to have her here and bring this opportunity to our students. Please be on the lookout for future communications regarding college and career, and how Ms. Joseph will be supporting this work.
