CSA 2020
Time to Sign Up!
Community Supported Agriculture/Produce Subscription
It is that time of year again....time to think about CSA season. We are already receiving boxes of seeds and have our planting schedule mapped out. Everyone is starting to get excited for the new growing season! (We may also start doing some anti-rain dances to get prepped for spring, after last year's deluges!)
We are contacting you, our 2019 subscribers, before we put anything out to the public through Facebook and our website. Since you have been such wonderful supporters...and we can't adequately express how much we appreciate you...we wanted you to get "first dibs" on this year's supply of shares. We are limiting the number of available shares, so it will be first come, first served.
February 28 will be the date that we open shares to others, if we have availability. We are asking you to take time over the next three weeks to think about it and contact us if you want to purchase a share this year. We would absolutely love to work with you again! Just give us a call at 330-549-9408 or email jlynch02@gmail.com to sign up.
NOTE ~ If you still have the produce baskets we gave out last summer, please feel free
to use them again this year for CSA pick up.
We've Got Mail
What’s it all about?
The produce and so much more…
* High Quality * Grown Locally * Farm Fresh * Handled with Care * Selected for Flavor
Grown, picked, packed, displayed and marketed, in part by area students. These are adults and young adults with developmental disabilities AND with abilities to develop via market farming work here.
Subscribing creates a partnership between consumers and farmers. Take comfort in knowing your hard-earned dollar goes directly to the people who plant, tend, and harvest your food locally and that your contribution supports this organization. You will also be supporting sustainable agricultural practices that protect our local soils and water.
The number of crops ready and amount of harvest of a given crop will vary throughout the season. We pledge to provide at least six different items each week. Last year, even with the extensive rain that marked spring and early summer, we always had more than six items. Our shares actually ranged from seven to twelve different items weekly, with ten being the most frequent total of items.
