π° Coins for Caring π°
We kicked off our coin for caring drive on November 6, it will run through December 1. All money collected will go to help families in our community during the holidays. The students can bring money at anytime and place in their class bin. The class that collects the most will win a pajama party.
As of today, Mrs. Lapp's homeroom is in the lead.
π Let's Read π
Please sign the Reading Log so your childrenβs teachers know that you are actively involved with the home reading. The expectation is for students to read for 30 minutes at school each day and 30 minutes at home each night. Each step is 15 minutes so 2 steps would equal 30 minutes. We officially started counting the steps in September. We will be incentivizing the reading program and students will earn a charm and a certificate for every 100 books read.
Smart is not something you are. Smart is something you become. Reading makes us all smarter. We are so excited to take on this reading challenge with you! Thank you for your support!
