From The Principal
Kia ora koutou
As the final day of Term 3 approaches, I'd like to congratulate the staff, parents and our amazing tamariki on a job well done, and acknowledge the hard work and dedication that makes it possible.
We've had many highlights during a busy term, including Moon Festival celebrations, Matariki, Maths Week, Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, Interschool Netball, Chess, Rugby & Rippa, culminating with Y5's "Robin Hood" and Y6's "Alice In Wonderland" productions.
I'd like to acknowledge all of our talented superstar performers, and thank the teaching teams in Y5 and Y6 for their efforts above and beyond the call of duty to make these shows so entertaining and memorable for all concerned.
Needless to say, we're really proud of all the children's achievements, and there can be no doubt that everyone has earned the upcoming break!
On another high note, the PTA have kindly arranged for the customary end of term ice-blocks once again (don't forget the gold coin!), with a reminder that school finishes at the usual time of 3pm.
All the best for the term break, and we look forward to seeing you in Term 4!
Ka kite anō i a koutou

Principal

- A friendly reminder that for security of our young dancers, parents are asked to remain outside the hall during the disco. We will ask you to enter to collect your child at the end. For safety, children will need an adult with them to exit the hall after their dance, so please arrange for someone to collect your child.
Senior disco help needed
In our call for Parent Help we have had a huge response for the Junior disco thanks. We are now making a further call to parents of the senior school - please see the sign up form here.
There are lots of jobs available such as filling water cups, helping to give out the food, selling iceblocks, door duty, floor duty, supervision of kids leaving to the bathroom, taking tickets etc.
More detail will be added to the PTA website Halloween page here.

Auction items
Perhaps you know someone who could offer an experience other families would enjoy, or a great deal on local products?
We can offer advertising, or other support, in exchange for goods, services, or extra helping hands on Fair day!
Please email us at menpspta@gmail.com or use this form to submit your auction item.
Many thanks to the awesome parents and caregivers that have put their hand up to help with stalls at the upcoming fair.
We still need help with only a few final roles to help with stalls on the day and in the lead up to the event on November 13th.
Help running the fun activities
On the day we will have lots of help to run all of the stalls in shifts, but in the lead up to the event we need to ensure each stall has everything ready to go. Fortunately we have run almost all of these activities before - so we have lots of experience to share from fair helpers that have moved on.
- Jousting bouncy castle
A new inflatable that will definitely prove popular. You will only need to manage the queue at the entrance and display the price. You will have several helpers during the day to collect money.
Please email us at menpspta@gmail.com for more information.
