SCIS PRINCIPAL MESSAGE 1/4/24
January 4, 2024
A NOTE FROM MRS. RAWLINS
Dear Sloan Creek Families,
I hope you all had a wonderful winter break full of family time, friends, food, and all of the JOY this season brings.
Sloan Creek came to life again today as students returned and our teachers and staff were more than ready to greet them! The Sloan Creek staff returned earlier this week in preparation and celebration for the return of our students. We spent valuable time together working on our collective commitments as a Professional Learning Community and examining our instructional practices in light of their impact on high levels of learning for all students. We had a little FUN as well and took home 1st Place in the district lip sync competition at our mid-year convocation! I am so proud of our dedicated staff for their hard work, growth mindset, and needless to say - creativity and lip sync skills!
Let the hard work and FUN continue... Happy New Year!
Sloan Creek PROUD,
❤️🐆 Megan Rawlins
