Volume 3 Issue 32
It was another busy week at Tustin Connect! We had a number of our middle school and high school students' works showcased as part of the TACFA art show. In addition, our 8th graders kicked off the CAASPP season with their science tests along with our 4th graders completing Walkthrough California. We also had our final School Site Council Meeting of the 21/22 school year. Thank you to our parents (Mrs. McBride, Mrs. Meyers, and Mrs. Weiser) our student rep Nathan, our teachers (Mrs. Dove, Mrs. McCourtney, and Mr. David) as well as Mrs. Kerri in the office. Your leadership and insight have been much appreciated. This week's background features a clip from our first ever Walkthrough CA Virtual Field Trip. It was an awesome opportunity for our 4th grades. Thank you to our PTA for sponsoring this amazing opportunity. As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or compliments, please reach out to Mr. Fineberg, our principal, at efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.

Middle School Information
CAASPP Testing Begins This Week April 18: CAASPP testing begins this week for 3rd-5th grade students. In person testing has proven to be the most successful. Students need a TUSD Device in order to test. If you haven't received one, please contact your teacher and they will get you one. There are some cases where students can test on their own device, but that can be tricky. Having a TUSD device for back up is recommended. Teachers have been sending reminders regarding dates and times. If you have any questions, please contact your teachers or Mr. Fineberg. Please be sure that students have hearty breakfast, fully charged device, they arrive/login on time, and a quiet place to work if at home. Check out this link for some tips.
MS Electives Next Year: We have received some questions about elective options for next year for Middle Schoolers. Our teachers are working on options for students at TC. We do not offer dual enrollment options at other TUSD Middle Schools. They are not able to accommodate the additional students. This is an option for students when they matriculate to high school.
