SEAL OF BILITERACY /STAMP TEST /BILINGUAL COMMENDATION
In BVSD we regard bilingual students as having a Superpower!
We would love to give you the opportunity to let the World know your World Language skills. YOU are amazing!
It’s that time of the year when we look at our student data, and see who:
- Has already qualified for the Seal of Biliteracy (pending final grades/graduation)
- May need to take a World Language test (STAMP test) to qualify for the Seal of Biliteracy
- May not be biliterate, but may be bilingual, and could qualify for a BVSD World Language Commendation
How do I know if I have qualified for the Seal of Biliteracy?
There are several ways that you can qualify. These are mapped out in our Seal Of Biliteracy Website: https://www.bvsd.org/parents-students/academics/career-and-college-connections/biliteracy-seal
- If you still aren’t sure if you qualify, feel free to check in with your school Grad Plus Site Lead kelly.isom@bvsd.org, or with your counselor, or World Language teacher
