Tuesday, Aug. 11 Board of Education Meeting
The Tuesday, August 11 Board of Education meeting will be held in person in the Walter R. Sundling Junior High Board Room at 7 p.m. Due to Restore Illinois guidelines from Governor Pritzker, we are limited to 50 having people in the room.
Per our typical practice, the meeting will also be live streamed to the District 15 Facebook page. Those who would like to address the Board may do so in person.

Free and Reduced Lunch Forms
Free and reduced priced meal forms are available to download/print or apply online from these locations:
Paper copies will be available at all schools and at the Nutrition Services office (1100 N. Smith Street, Palatine).
*Please note, students attending Jane Addams, Virginia Lake, Lake Louise, Winston Campus Junior High and John Conyers Learning Academy do NOT need to complete a free and reduced price meal form. All students at these schools receive free meals, regardless of their economic status. These schools participate in Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), permitting all students enrolled to receive free meals without collecting household applications.
Fee Waiver Applications (for students attending Jane Addams, Virginia Lake, Lake Louise, Winston Campus Junior High & John Conyers Learning Academy):
Fee Waiver Applications are available on the District 15 Nutrition Services Department website.
Paper copies are available at all schools and the District 15 Educational Service Center (580 N. 1st Bank Drive, Palatine).
If you are approved for free or reduced priced meals, a fee waiver is automatically applied.
Meal Delivery Continuation
District 15 will continue to deliver meals to verified District 15 students during the pandemic.
Meals will be charged to each student’s account upon pick-up.
Lunches will be charged at $2.60 ($0.40 for those qualifying for reduced price meals.
Breakfasts will be charged at $1.30 ($0.30 for those qualifying for reduced priced meals).
Students who qualify for free meal benefits will not be charged.
Students at Jane Addams, Virginia Lake, Lake Louise, Winston Campus Junior High and John Conyers Learning Academy will all receive free meals due to the schools’ CEP status.
Nutrition Services staff will scan student barcodes on-site upon pick-up to take payment from MealTime accounts.
Students do not need to be present in order to receive meals. Parents may pick up meals for students but should have the student barcode card with them.
Cards will be sent home with students during material pick-up next week. Nutrition services staff will be able to look up students who do not have a barcode card.
Meal delivery schedule and menus will be made available before the start of the school year.
