It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to our wonderful counselor Mr. Baracani. Life has directed him in a different path. We will miss him greatly and appreciate all he has done for the students and staff at OLLV. We are fortunate that our wonderful new counselor, Ms. Celis was able to shadow Mr. Baracani the past two weeks and has already started building relationships with our students. Please help us in welcoming her to the OLLV family!

As we get through cold and flu season, please be sure to have your contact info updated in FACTS. In the event that the nurse needs to send your child home sick, we need to be able to contact you quickly and have your sick child picked up in a timely manner. Thank you for your support in these efforts!

We are very excited to be celebrating the Christmas Season with our annual Christmas pageant. Due to the recent growth of the OLLV student population, we will be making some minor changes to the pageant this year to ensure as many people as possible have a seat and are able to see their student perform.

What to wear: Students should wear their "Sunday Best" dress to school on Thursday for rehearsal AND to the performance that evening. Students should wear dress shoes or their school shoes with their "Sunday Best."

Location: Our Lady of Las Vegas Church

When: There will be two start times for the Christmas Pageant this year, 5:30 PM and 6:40 PM.

PK-4th Grade

Please drop your student off to their classroom at 5:15 PM, this performance will start at 5:30 PM. We ask parents to stay for the entirety of this performance. Once this performance has ended parents will be excused to pick up their child from the classroom, we will follow after school dismissal protocols.

There will be a 30 minute intermission between the two performances to allow the church to clear out and allow for the upper grade families to enter the church, approximately 6:10 PM-6:40 PM. Please be patient in the parking lot during this time. If you have a child in the lower AND upper grades, please pick up your child in the lower grades and then return for the upper grades performance in the church.

5th-8th Grade

Please drop your student off to their homeroom classroom at 6:25 PM, this performance will start at 6:40 PM.

Should you wish to volunteer in your child's classroom or be a chaperone on a field trip please ensure that you have completed fingerprinting, background checks, and the CMG program. You may pick up a volunteer packet in the front office. Please know that this clearance process takes between four and six weeks.
