Message from the Principal

Welcome back Tigers! I am so excited to welcome you the to 2023-2024 school year! For our new Tiger cubs, welcome! We are so happy you are here. For our returning Tigers, we have missed you and can't wait to see your smiling faces! As you get ready for Thursday, August 17th, here are some things you should know:



  • The office is open from 8:00am to 4:00 pm daily.
  • Schedules will be released via Aeries Home link Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 3:15.
  • Please update your students information and complete the data confirmation survey.
  • Kindergarten Meet and Greet will be Wednesday, August 16 from 3:00 to 4:00.
  • Thursday, August 17, please join our PTA for a Boo Hoo Yahoo Breakfast in front of the flagpole.


On Thursday, campus will be open at 8:56 am with the first bell ringing at 9:11 am. If you enter campus with your student, please stay by the red benches across from room 14 and say your good-byes there. You may be used to being able to walk your students to their line and wait there or follow your student to the yard, however for the safety of our students, we are asking that you please not walk all the way on to campus. After you say your goodbyes, you may go to the flagpole for the PTA Boo Hoo Yahoo Breakfast!


I am overjoyed to begin this school year here at Nipomo El and this wonderful community. Our mission for our Tigers is to ensure a safe and positive environment where ALL Tigers will learn the necessary skills to reach grade level proficiency or higher and become productive, responsible, ethical, and compassionate individuals. I look forward to continue growing our learners and working with you to ensure that we continue to hold high expectations for ALL of our Tigers.


Your participation and support is crucial to the success of our students and community! I am hopeful to build a partnership that allows you to be actively engaged in your student's education whether you are volunteering, attending parent-teacher conferences, attending ELAC meetings/parent education, or joining our amazing PTA! Conversations with your student about their day, what they have learned, and what can you do to help them can also help you be in touch with what goes on here at school through the lens of your student.


On behalf of the entire Nipomo Elementary team, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for entrusting us with your student's education. Together, let's make this year filled with new discoveries, academic growth, and memories we will never forget. Here at Nipomo El we are SIMPLY THE BEST!
