AFFORDABLE HOUSING UPDATE
This week, LCA received information from the Merrimack Valley Housing Partnership. They are the lottery agent for a new housing development in Lowell that is affordable housing and they offer downpayment assistance and they specialize in first time homebuyers. One of our parents works for the MVHP, so if you have any questions, you can reach out to Nelly Portuhondo at nelly@mvhp.org. You can look all this information up at www.mvhp.org.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Best,
Ms. Lucey
Stories from the Schoolyard
ROCKPORT MUSIC
On Thursday, Grades 1-4 went to a Body Percussion workshop from Rockport Music. This program was fabulous and Henrique Eisenmann did a great job with all our students. They learned about making music with their bodies, the different sounds they can make using only their bodies and how to interpret music. All the students were well behaved and had a great time!
VALENTINE'S DAY UPDATE
This year, Valentine's Day falls on Ash Wednesday. We will be going to Church in the morning. Students may bring cards to exchange with their classmates at the end of the day, but please, no candy or treats.
