Note from Julie
Game Show Friday
Secondary class hosted Game Show Friday with Truth or Fib. They ask lots of people in the building for fun facts about themselves or their department. Then Ms. Nickie made lots of slides so we could decide if it was true or a fib. We had tons of fun working with our Math, Literacy, Social and Speech skills. Mr. Ben's class was the winner.

Middle School
On July 31st, Bright Zoo in Tennessee has welcomed a rare giraffe that does not have any spots. They had a naming contest and the middle school class took on the challenge. They asked everyone from the school to come down and cast your vote on which name you liked for the new baby. The choices were Kipekee (unique), Firyali (unusual or extraordinary), Shakiri (she is most beautiful) and Jamella (one of great beauty). Lots of people flocked to the middle school classroom to cast their votes. Including preschool, nursing and even Gregory put his vote in. Middle school tallied and graphed all the votes. Our vote that was sent into Bright Zoo was Shakira meaning she is most beautiful. Unfortunately, After everyone around the nation voted her name is Kipekee meaning unique. It is a nice name and I'm sure there were a few people in the building that were excited about her name. if you want to learn more about Kipekee click on her picture for a link to Bright Zoo.
Thanks Mr. Joey for making Math fun!

Are you interested in volunteering? We have a sign up for you to help out in our building. Lots of different activities needed from helping create materials to organizing equipment. Sign up below, TODAY!
Important Reminders
Please call the school attendance line (303.982.7195) if your child will be absent, late or leaving early. This allows us to adjust building support and account for all students each day. Relaying your child's absence through transportation, classroom staff or the clinic staff does not allow for timely and consistent communication.
All visitors must enter the building using the front entrance and check in at the front office before visiting classrooms or attending meetings. Thanks for keeping our school community safe!
