Moana: The school musical is absolutely fantastic!!! I am so proud of our students and our staff members who have devoted so many hours and hours to make this production possible!! Tickets are still available for this Thursday and/or Friday evening, and can be purchased from 8:30-3:30 each day in the school office.
We will have some limited concessions (water, candy bars) available Thursday and Friday.
Last Day of School: Friday, May 28 is the last day of school. School will dismiss at noon. We will serve lunch one hour earlier than normal, however, students do not have to eat. If they choose to eat and select a lunch choice they must take a tray.
Registration: The registration window for 2021-2022 is now open. Each family must be updated in the system in order for us to register your child. For registration information and instructions, please go to our school web page, http://artcity.nebo.edu/ and click on the Registration button at the top. Students will not be placed into a class until the registration process is complete. If you have any questions, please call Natalie or Kim in the office.
Lost and Found: We have many items in our lost and found. This time of year we get lots of nice coats and jackets. If you are missing anything, please check the lost and found located in the north lobby.
5th/6th Grade Celebration: Friday May 21 will be a day of celebration for 5th and 6th graders. In the morning Mrs. Jensen has arranged a "Middle School Day" for students to help answer questions, practice moving from class to class and alleviate anxiety about middle school. Our amazing PTA is providing a pizza lunch, followed by a kickball tournament. These great kids will end the school day with a parade through the hallways of Art City, complete with the student body cheering them on and wishing them well! Students will receive a certificate and ring pop as they end their parade. We will have a video of the parade on our website. Teachers will send home a slide show of the grade level to parents for a keepsake. There will not be an evening performance or graduation. This celebration is not for families, rather a time for the kids to have a super fun day and celebrate the end of the school year.
If you would like a picture of your 5th or 6th grade student in front of the balloon arch or the amazing lobby wall that PTA made, please feel free to come and take a fun photo!
Teacher Requests: I am not taking teacher requests for next school year. However, if you have educational concerns regarding your child, please feel free to call me at school to discuss these concerns. I prefer an in person visit or phone call as these discussions are very important. There is movement and change in each grade level, so specific teacher requesting is not feasible.
If you ever have any questions or concerns please feel free to give us a call or email.
