Principal's Report - Dr. Phillip Reavis
Family Math, Science, and Technology Night
Math! Science! Technology! Oh My! Please join us for Oakview’s Family Science, Math, and Technology Night on Thursday, February 11 from 5-7pm. This is a drop-in event, so come when you can and enjoy the activities at your leisure. Families can participate in activities on the grade level hallway for their student(s), as well as visit many exciting events around the building! Please be sure to return the bottom of the flyer that was sent home Monday, January 11 so we know how many in your family will be attending. We hope to see you there!
Businesses Wanted for Family Math, Science, and Technology Night!
a) set up a small demonstration/activity for parents/students to stop by and visit
b) give us materials and/or a display related to your company’s math/science/technology connections to display in one of our rooms for you.
This is a perfect opportunity for the students to make connections to real-world careers in these fields, as well as for your business to get some extra exposure with our community. If you are willing to help us, please contact Charnley DeMeritt at cdemerit@greenville.k12.sc.us or leave a message at 355-7159. Thank you for supporting math, science, and technology at Oakview!
