Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
September is a busy month for our students, families, and teachers. We are halfway through our 1st quarter and are in the full swing of things in our classes. Students are doing well with both their academic achievements and behavior. Our Mustangs are demonstrating how kind and caring they are toward one another every day. Overall, students earned over 500 PRIDE cards for the month of August! Also, congratulations to our Student of the Month winners.
Teachers have been working on getting a baseline of academic ability for your student(s) and will be sharing that with you during the Parent/Teacher Conferences on September 20-22. If you have not signed up for your conference yet, please reach out to your student's teacher to do so. These conferences are also an opportunity for teachers to learn from parents or guardians so they can be better informed about students' strengths, needs, behaviors, and learning styles.
Warmest regards,
Emily Suess

Counselor Corner
Hello Marshall Families!
At this point in the year, we are starting to get a feel for some of our students who may need some extra support this year for a variety of reasons. Counseling small groups are offered as part of our comprehensive school counseling program and are available to any student who may benefit from a safe environment to share their feelings and experiences. Group counseling can be especially beneficial for students whose emotions and behaviors may be affecting their learning and relationships here at school. Small groups give students an opportunity to be heard and supported by their peers who may be enduring similar stressors. Participating students will practice skills and strategies needed to effectively communicate, cope, and succeed. Counseling small group topics vary based upon the needs presented in our students—if you think your student may benefit from the support of a small group, or if you want more information about the groups we are offering this year, please click on the link to complete our Small Group Counseling Form. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns to share!
Thank you & be well,
