The River Hawk
Rio Norte News - October 6, 2023
A Note From the Principal
Good Morning River Hawk Families,
It's incredible that we're in October and our first quarter is coming to a close next week on Friday, October 13th. Please be sure your student knows when each teacher's deadline is for make-up/missing work. Infinite Campus and Google Classroom and/or teacher websites are a great way to stay in-the-know.
October is shaping up to be a busy month and we hope that our parents and guardians that are first responders are able to join ASB and PTSA to celebrate YOU, our own Rio Heroes! Please see the information and RSVP below. Not a first responder? You can help by donating breakfast items (link later in this issue).
Reflections submissions are due no later than Tuesday morning, October 10th. Artists should bring their work to the MPR before school to enter into the competition. Be sure you have the correct paperwork filled out.
Our next PTSA Restaurant Fundraiser Night is at Red Robin this coming Wednesday, October 11th. Please consider taking the night off from cooking as Red Robin will give us back 20%, which is significant. They also have a great "to go" process and explain on the flyer (under important dates) how to make sure Rio gets credit for your "to go" order.
