Message from Principal Thill
Dear Jefferson Families:
I have noticed my life gets pretty hectic around the holidays. There are so many things I feel I need to take care of in order to prepare for all the celebrations. However, I need to make sure that I let you know how thankful I am to be a part of this school community. I am surrounded by amazing students, supportive families, and a wonderful staff. I am grateful for all of you!

Attendance Matters
Facts about Good Attendance
Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school—and themselves. Start building this habit in preschool so they learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Good attendance will help children do well in high school, college and at work.
- Students who miss fewer days become better readers.
- Good attendance habits pay off! More school days attended increases a child’s academic success, improves their chances to earn a high school diploma and a college degree, so they can earn higher pay in their careers.
- 80% of success is showing up!
