BACK TO SCHOOL EDITION
Greetings Parents and Guardians! I hope you and your family are doing well and that each of you had a great weekend. Wow! The first week of school is in the books, and it was Amazing; our students are learning how to navigate our building as well as their schedule and lockers. On Friday we discussed with each grade level and demonstrated to them information regarding our school dress code, school discipline, and the importance of coming to school every day [ STUDENT ATTENDANCE IS VERY IMPORTANT TO YOUR CHILD EDUCATION], a strong focus on reading and writing this year was also discussed.
Here are some key things to remember:
- The school day is from 8:15-4:15
- The building is open for students at 8:15; please do not drop your child off before then as there will not be anyone on duty before that time to supervise them.
- If your child will be riding the bus to and from school, please allow extra time for at least the first two weeks of school. Many of our drivers are new to their routes. Remember, WE PRIORITIZE SAFETY OVER SPEED!
- Students who are car riders will be dismissed from the gym, and their names and/or number is called. PLEASE BE PATIENT AS YOU PICK UP YOUR CHILD.
- Please sign the parent Acknowledgment form for the student handbook; just click on the link below. It can be found on page 74.

WE VALUE AND APPRECIATE OUR TEACHERS
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we start a new school year, we would like to, throughout the school year, provide small treats and gifts to our teachers and staff for the hard work they do each day. Therefore, we are asking each Clements Middle School family to donate $10 to this cause. Contributions can be made by clicking on the "Gofan" link below. The “GOFAN” link will be available for your convenience until further notice. In addition, we would like to thank all of our parents and guardians who provided treats and snacks for our teachers and staff last year and thank you to those who have already begun providing snacks and treats for this year.
Clements Parents ROCK!!!
