VETERAN'S DAY COLLECTION - NOVEMBER 8TH - 12TH
Our Veteran's Day collection recipient this year is a local charity called
Operation Support Our Troops-America. They are located in Naperville, IL.
Their mission is to support the morale and well-being of American forces by providing comfort, resources and education to them and their families both while they are deployed in harm’s way and after their return. As a volunteer based non-profit organization, they provide the opportunity for our community members to express their appreciation and offer support for our troops.
We'll be collecting canned goods and toiletries for our service members beginning Monday, November 8th - Friday, November 12th. Collection boxes will be outside the office and in the foyer.

Let Us Introduce You To: Our Teaching Assistants
Ivy Hill is lucky to have 6 incredible professionals that help our Ivy Hill Eagles each and every day! They assist in the classrooms, help one on one with our students and supervise our lunches...and that's all before noon! The things that they do that are outside of their job description are too numerous to count. We'd be lost without them!
Laura Koch has been in our district for 13 years with the last 7 at Ivy Hill. She is the creative mind behind our best bulletin boards and is an avid baker!
Tonia Santangelo has been at Ivy for 6 years and loves assisting students one on one. Both of her kids went to D25 schools and are now attending college.
Ana Beltran is new to Ivy Hill this year! She is from Mexico and loves to read - she even has a part time job in a library!
Nancy Bard came to Ivy Hill 2 years ago. Nancy is a certified teacher and is always willing to take on a classroom when needed.
Grace Rosales is another new face this year. She comes to us with lots of experience and is enjoying her new home here at Ivy Hill. She is originally from Peru, and her maiden name means "Sacred Puma" in Quechua.
Zhaneta Roura is a native of Bulgaria. She is energetic and her optimism is contagious. Her three sons attend D25 schools and are active in sports.
Our classes would not run as smoothly without these marvelous women so next time you see them, let them know they are appreciated by all!
Mrs. Santangelo
Ms. Beltran
Mrs. Koch Ms. Rosales
Mrs. Roura Ms. Bard
