Goooooood evening Glenn Marlow Families! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, and stayed warm out there!! We were all excited to see the sunshine today, and although a little chilly, it looks like it will be sunny all week!

We had a great time last week celebrating the 100th Day of School - Marlow Magic Day! Lots of great school spirit, blue and white, and even a few students that looked 100 years old walking around!!

Other highlights of the week included: Second Grade's final trip to the YMCA for Safety Around Water (a great success!!), and a K-Kids trip to Interfaith Assistance Ministries to deliver the collected canned goods,

We celebrate the end of a long January this week, and look forward to the challenges and successes that February will bring. Let's get it!!

As said many times before, student attendance plays an integral part of a child's success in school.

Our school wide goal is an Average Weekly Attendance Rate (AWAR) of 95% or greater.

This past week (1/22 - 1/26), our school-wide AWAR was 93.90%...HIGHER THAN LAST WEEK!

Let's work hard to stay healthy, be on time to school, and great things will happen.

Every student counts.....Every day matters.

OUR GOAL WAS 500 CANS -- AND WE DID IT....AND THEN SOME!!!

In total, our Marlow K-Kids collected over 630 items, which equated to 655 lbs of soup and canned goods. AWESOME JOB!! See the pictures below of our 5th grade K-Kids members at IAM, delivering the collections. Great job students, and our Marlow Community!!

“Marlow’s Got Talent”, the one and only talent show for Marlow students, is on for 2024!!

Flyers were sent home last week, detailing information about practices, rehearsals, and show time. If interested, please make sure that your child returns the flyer to Ms. Karen Whiting (4th Grade Teacher) no later than Friday, February 2nd.

Please contact Ms. Whiting if you any questions, or for further information. The tryout date is set for February 6th from 3pm - 5pm, with rehearsals on the 13th and 20th, and the Talent Show is scheduled for Friday, February 23rd @ 6pm.

As always, we are looking forward to a great show our amazing, talented Buckaroos!
