The Board of Education was updated on summer construction projects during last night's meeting. Many buildings received upgrades over the break with interior renovations, HVAC units, roofing and intercoms being the largest focus of the work. Students and staff returning to Norris and Cather Elementary Schools, Central Middle School and Millard South High School noticed the biggest changes. While rising costs and supply chain issues have brought about some challenges, careful management has kept the overall construction costs financed from the 2020 bond under budget. Through school and community use, Millard's 35 schools are nearly always busy. Millard thanks our community for investing in our facilities and keeping them well maintained and efficient.
