Foundations Awards 13 Local Graduates

The Suffolk Education Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2022 college scholarships. This year, the Foundation is awarding $20,500 to help 13 local high school graduates continue their education.

KFMS Glow Show

Recently, KFMS hosted a Glow Show where students used neon and fluorescent paint to create works of art. Each art class had a culminating activity in the show space with music, art competitions, refreshments, and games. It was lit!

Another PTLW Distinguished School!

In addition to Nansemond River High, Lakeland High has also been named a 2021-22 PLTW Distinguished School! LHS & NRHS are two of 191 high schools across the U.S. to receive this honor for providing broad access to transformative learning experiences for students through PLTW.
