Message from Sr. Kucinski

Dearest LODL School Community,

It's so hard to believe we are already mid-way through March; the school year is "marching" ahead. (insert cheesy joke!). ;-)

I would like to take a moment to thank the numerous parent volunteers we have had to make so many of the events happen over the past several weeks: Family Fun Night, LOBOS WAVES awards winners and cafeteria volunteers, Book Fair, Read-a-Thon and all of the Festivities that go along, Field Trip Chaperones and simply just helping in the normal school day.

I have shared this several times, but our mission and overarching theme is to truly partner with families and staff to best support all of our students. It's the "It Takes A Village" mentality. And we all need that more than ever. So, thank you!

3rd grade MN STEM Design Challenge-

Students across Minnesota (and beyond!) took on the Zooms STEM Design Challenge this school year to help develop innovative enrichment and exhibit design solutions for the Minnesota Zoo! One top student projects from each school were invited to present their ideas to zoo staff and Flint Hills Resources engineers. The zoo provided us with both Spanish and English speaking judges.

One of our groups even earned the Wolf Pack award for their teamwork---Keegan, Logan and Henry.
