Staff Comments: Chace exemplifies the Logger Agreement by working as a team in his physical science class. Not only does he do his best every day to understand the materials we work on, but he also takes time to work with other students to make sure they understand, as well. Additionally, Chace shows scientific curiosity, actively seeking out new information and eagerly pushing his understanding to new heights. His enthusiasm for learning and willingness to help others grasp complex concepts is truly commendable. Chace's dedication to both his own academic growth and the success of his peers sets an inspiring example for our classroom community.

THANK YOU, MRS. MCGUINESS AND MS. JULIE!
It's National School Counseling Week! We want to take a moment to thank our school counselors, Mrs. McGuiness and Ms. Julie (Jamison), two valuable team members at Boyne Falls Public School. They contribute to our district in many ways: supporting our students, celebrating successes, and offering words of encouragement when needed. In times of difficulty or personal setbacks, they lift our students up and remind them that setbacks are just stepping stones toward success. Thank you, Ms. Julie and Mrs. McGuiness! Your service and hard work do not go unnoticed!

HOW TO OBSERVE AMERICAN HEART MONTH
Take up a heart-healthy habit
Staying active, eating healthy, and watching our weight are all important parts of maintaining a healthy cardiovascular system. Pick a new heart-healthy habit like walking, increasing vegetable consumption, or substituting sodas with water and try to stick to it for a whole month.
Educate yourself
Learn about the risk factors for heart disease, the ways you can prevent them, and the lifestyle choices that can help you stay healthy.
Get your cholesterol tested
If you’re worried you might be at risk for heart disease, ask your doctor to perform a simple cholesterol test to let you know if you’re at risk and should make adjustments to your diet and purposeful activity.
