TED, Ferus, Pinchgut Pies, will all be open to the general public, only the Drawdown and Bingo are limited to ticket holding patrons.

Please plan to eat in the downtown area before the event, and Ferus, Pinchgut Pies will be open for food and drink orders. There are other restaurants in walking distance to the TED, we encourage you to eat at as well.

Our financial secretaries will be available to answer questions and accept fees in the main office during Open House as well. TheyWe appreciate your support!

Sign-ups for the PSAT will begin on Monday, August 21st. This is the preliminary SAT which is a practice test for 10th graders, and for 11th graders it is the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

The PSAT will be administered digitally for the first time this year, and is scheduled for October 3rd. The sign-up window is from August 21st to September 1st.

Please see the attached registration form that we must receive back in the counseling department. The school system pays for all juniors who sign up so we only need the registration form back for them.

For sophomores interested in signing up, there is an $18 fee. We need the form back with payment of cash or check attached, or the following link can be used to make payment… https://trussvilleal.csiepay.com/Views/Payment/Pay.aspx

Students without a parking decal may not park on campus. Parking registration can be found here: https://al50000063.schoolwires.net/domain/157

Online payments are accepted. Once the parking application is completed and the parking and drug testing fees are paid, students can obtain a parking decal from the HTHS Main Office. See Mrs. Windsor.

All 9th, 10th and 11th graders will be taking a Mock ACT Test on Tuesday, September 12. Students will receive detailed feedback from this practice test along with online ACT instruction and strategies. A follow up Mock ACT Test will be given on Tuesday, January 9th.

Learn about the nomination application process for the U.S. Service Academies with U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville, U.S. Senator Katie Britt, and U.S. Congressmen. Representatives from each of the service academies will attend to provide details about their programs.
