First Day of School Monday, August 14, 2023

Just a few reminders to help the first day go smoothly:
  • Doors will open at 7:10 am for carpool and walkers (please see MAP for where to park for walkers)
  • Unfortunately kindergarten parents are the only parents allowed to walk their child to class the first day. All other grade levels must use the walker door or carpool lane for drop off. Please take your photos at home or in the parking lot.
  • As you use the carpool lanes, please have your child exit on the left for safety.
  • Everyone please be careful and watch for people in the parking lots.
  • School starts at 7:40. Students should be in their seats ready at 7:40 or they are tardy. Doors will close at 7:38. If doors are closed students must go through the front office.
  • There will be staff to help direct anyone that needs help. Please remember to ask, and remember safety first.


Students will need to come in uniform with their backpack and water bottle and a packed lunch. Chick Fil A will not start until later in the year.


Be prepared to use school dismissal manager on Monday (if SDM gives us the green light). You will receive an email. If you have an issues, please contact Kelly Renshaw in the front office and she can help you (krenshaw@lpsfrisco.com or 972-294-6921).


School will dismiss at 4:00. Please use the tags you received at meet the teacher in addition to SDM.As it helps us to know which child to put in which car. Keep that sign displayed from your rearview mirror until your child is loaded. If you need to check your child out early please do so before 3:30. There will be no students checked out from the office after this point. The end of the day is very busy and this will help eliminate some of this if students are checked out before 3:30.


We understand how frustrating the first few days can be - please be patient and know that we are working to make it as smooth as possible.

My School Bucks Student Fees

We will be sending out further communication about the school supply fee. We will send communication once they are loaded into myschoolbucks.com so that you can pay them. Fees will remain the same as last year $160.

LPS School Board Meeting

During any public authorized board meeting, any member of the public is able to provide comment on any agenda item for that particular meeting before the board has discussion on that item. Individuals that wish to provide public comment will be provided access to speak, from a moderator, during the public comment portion of the meeting.

Chick Fil A is Open!

Chick-fil-a ordering is now open for September! Please visit myschoolbucks.com to order. Be sure to select correct student when ordering, changes can not be made. Chick-fil-a will be offered on Thursdays this year and are available on the following dates in September: 09/07, 09/14, 09/21 and 09/28. Ordering will close on August 30th.
