Supporting Your Well-being
During Times of Difficulty — April 24th, 2020 Edition
Dear community,
As we enter the weekend, reflect on this week's accomplishments. Perhaps you connected with a friend or family member, cooked a delicious meal, added some movement to your wellness routine, or changed out of sweats for [some of] your Zoom meetings. Whatever your accomplishments, big or small, take time to acknowledge them and recognize your resilience; use this weekend as an opportunity to appreciate yourself and your perseverance during this challenging time. Give yourself some well-deserved relaxation and be sure to do something that you enjoy!
In this newsletter, learn how to make a mask in only one minute using simple household items, find out how to stream concerts, plays, and performances from Cornell and around the world, and get matched with your perfect Quarantine Buddy thanks to a trio of innovative Cornell students!
Wishing you wellness,

Cornell: Stop COVID – How to Make a Mask
One thing we learned from our Cornell Health COVID-19 Survey that ran earlier this month is that the vast majority of students were interested in receiving more information about COVID-19 risk reduction. In response, Skorton Center staff developed a series of short videos that will highlight simple risk reduction measures to protect yourself and your loved ones, no matter where you currently reside. View the first video above to learn how to make a simple mask to protect yourself, your friends, and your family!
To see the current collection of social norms campaign messages that were generated from the results of the survey, please visit: www.health.cornell.edu/covid-survey.
12 Concerts and Shows to Stream this Weekend!
With concerts and live performances being cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns, many artists are choosing to make these events available online. From Post Malone to Broadway shows, here is a list of a dozen different concerts, musicals, ballets and more for your viewing enjoyment this weekend!
Live Stream PULSE 2019: Yamatai's Annual Concert

The watch party of PULSE 2019 promises to delight and amaze the audience yet again with the power, intensity, and lyricism of taiko drumming! It even features a collaboration with Cornell Big Red Raas, so don’t miss out!
