The Panther's Growl
Dear Collegiate Family:
Spring has arrived, and we are gearing up for testing season. We know that academic success is closely related to student attendance, and we ask that absences are avoided to the greatest extent possible.
We are excited that our freshmen and sophomores are getting the opportunity to take the TSIA2. This test is used by the college to gauge students’ aptitude in reading and math. The test is also a prerequisite for many of the classes the students need to take to achieve their associate degree, which means the students need to take the time to practice. Students can go to https://practice.accuplacer.org/login for practice material.
Our workplace coordinator, Ms. Sheffield, is providing opportunities for students to earn Microsoft Office Suite Certifications. All students are eligible. Students earning certifications will be rewarded with a day filled with food and fun at Klyde Warren Park.
Please make sure all seniors have completed their FAFSA/TASFA as it is a requirement for high school graduation. Also, now is the time for students to get their resumes updated because summer internships are on the horizon.
As always, we appreciate your support and dedication to the E-TECH program.
Sincerely,
Ms. Jefferson
