1. Be Safe
2. Be Kind
3. Be Responsible
Our students are doing a great job of following our PBIS behavior expectations!
HAWTHORNE FALL FESTIVAL
Friday, October 13 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Games, raffles, prizes, food and fun!
More specific guidelines, rules and procedures can be found in our Parent-Student Handbook that is posted on our website (https://www.ifschools.org/Hawthorne) or at the link below.
Pick up and Drop off tips:
1. Plan ahead and be a little early. Students line up and teachers take them into the building at 8:55
2. If your students are in K, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th, it is MUCH faster for them to get to line if you pull up the alley and drop off at the parent drop off.
3. If you drop off on 16th Street, please pull to the curb. If you are on the south side of 16th, please walk your student across.

School Routine
Please help our students have a great day at school by setting up good routines like:
Prepare for morning the night before - lay out your clothes and know where your backpack is.
Pack your lunch or have a plan for lunch
Turn off screens (bluelight) an hour before bedtime
Read a story and get to bed! Kids this age need 9-12 hours of sleep.
