Many thanks to all concerned who have been working in behind the scenes to improve safety systems with our road crossings in Kelly Street, Miro Street and also Rata Street. We have been actively working with a variety of groups over time.
A special thanks to our BoT rep Sarah Lucas who represented our voice at the Inglewood Community Board hui.

The Fire Tornado
The roar of the tornado was as loud as a giant hungry lion. It chews everything up like a beast with no remorse. As it spreads little tiny fiery red dots everywhere. As it gobbles everything up the embers start to evolve into the devilish gusts of destruction.it destroys everything in its path as if lava is going through but at the speed of light.

Enrolment Zone
Kia ora Whanau
The Ministry of Education has identified that Inglewood Primary School is at risk of being overcrowded and has given the school Board notice of this.
After consultation with the Board, we have developed a proposed enrolment scheme for under section 72 of the Education and Training Act 2020.
As part of this process, we are consulting with the school’s community and with people living in the area for which the school is a reasonably convenient school. The enrolment scheme could affect which school a student will be entitled to enrol in.
We will be holding a consultation meeting 5:30pm Monday 28 June at Inglewood Primary School in Te Moa (the hall) to provide further information and gather feedback from parents and the community.
A copy of the proposed scheme can be obtained by email from the Ministry Of Education via darryl.leath@education.govt.nz
Please know that all children who currently attend Inglewood Primary School will not be affected. All children who live in the township of Inglewood and currently may go to other schools, will be able to come to Inglewood Primary if their parents wish them to do so at any given time.
The zone map will be available to view at the meeting and or from Darryl Leath through the email above.
The timeframe is to have the proposed zone in place for the commencement of the 2022 year.
Pre Enrolment List
We are also asking that if you have children who you wish to enrol with us to commence their year 7 or year 8 schooling here at IPS, you also send the details in also as below
This assists us with class placements and future predictions with the Ministry of Education.
All you need to do is phone 7568040 and speak to Debbie or Mia in the school office and ask for your child to be put on the pre-enrolment list. You will be asked for their full name, date of birth, address, email address and a contact phone number. Alternatively you can email the above details to office@inglewood.school.nz
