There was no winter lull for students, staff and families at GC! When we returned from the holiday break, we hit the ground getting back into routine and working through our middle of year (MoY) assessments.

As we worked hard in the classroom, we also had plenty of fun around school. We conducted two fundraisers (Pennies for Pets and the PTA Dancefit) that showed us how much we can accomplish when a community comes together to support one another.

We also had two amazing assemblies: the first was our 3rd grade performers showing us their dancing skills learned during the 10 week SPAC dance residency pogram and the other performance was a preview of Finding Nemo, Jr. by our friends of the BSMS Launching Pad.

And as if that wasn't enough, this week we celebrated our 100th day of school and Valentine's Day. Whew, what a month!

On behalf of the staff and BSCSD team, I want to express my sincerest gratitude to our GC community for all of your support during this busy and fun time for our students.

We are truly Better Together!
