Last week we shared how to talk to our children about making good choices and you read the story What If Everybody Did That?
This week, we continue with making the right choice to be ready to learn. We have implemented the Zones of Regulation with our children. See below for resources of how you can support at home. Using the same common language at home is important to our children's success. Please reach out if you have any questions or need help supporting your child's mental health or well-being. We are here to help!
Happy Veterans Day to all the Veterans and Active duty families in our community. We appreciate you for your many sacrifices in the name of our great country!
Quarter 1 Report Cards and Narratives will be coming home with your child on Tuesday, November 7th. Please check your child's backpack and take home folder to review the report card and narrative feedback provided by your child's teacher. Please sign the envelope and return to the teacher.
It is also a great practice to review your child's report card on Home Access Center with them. We encourage you to do so for students in Grades 3-5 so they are familiar with logging in to check their progress. This will be helpful as they move on to middle school. You can access Home Access Center here.
Wishing you well,
Dr. Contina Quick-McQueen
Principal
