STUDENT DEMOGRAPHIC FORMS 2023-2024
Dear Parents:
Please take a moment and log into PowerSchool and complete your child’s EICS Demographic Confirmation Form for the year 2023-2024.
Alberta Education requires that we obtain a detailed update of student demographics on an annual basis. Funding they provide for your child’s education is conditional to us receiving these updates and making them part of the student’s record. We ask that you complete this form in PowerSchool by Thursday, June 1, 2023.
You can perform the following steps to access, review and submit the form:
1) Log into PowerSchool at https://powerschool.eics.ab.ca
2) For each of your students, complete any forms which have been assigned to them.
We would like to thank you in advance for completing these forms.

SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER - SURVEY
The Camrose Police Service is looking for your feedback!
Dear Parents/Staff:
Since 1996, the Camrose Police Service has had the privilege of dedicating a full time police officer to perform the duties of the School Resource Officer (SRO) for the 10 schools in the City of Camrose.
Over the past couple of school years, the SRO has completed the transition from the previous “D.A.R.E.” program, to a more modern, and completely customized “C.O.R.E.” program for youth in our community.
The C.O.R.E Program’s main focus revolves around staying healthy to better serve the various communities youth are involved in. The four main themes of the C.O.R.E. Program are aligned with the Alberta Health curriculum and are as follows:
Caring for their body, mind, and spirit.
Online safety, integrity and responsibility
Relationship with self (mental health) and others based on respect and trust
Establishing healthy boundaries or healthy decision making
In addition to CORE instruction, the SRO is also engaged in a number of other school related activities including; preventative threat assessments and intervention, facilitating the Boys’ Council group, participating and volunteering at various special events, coordinating lockdown drills, and providing assistance to all of the local schools when situations require the police.
Despite some curriculum changes, the main objective of the SRO program has always remained the same – to build rapport between youth and the police, and to provide the highest level of safety possible to every school in Camrose.
In an effort to continue to optimize the SRO program, we are looking for your input by completing a brief survey to guide us moving forward.
We will also be surveying the students in Grades 6 to 12 prior to the end of the school year. These surveys are completely anonymous, and completely voluntary.
The Camrose Police Service wants to thank you for all of the support through the school year. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
The survey is located at www.ourcamrose.ca/cps Please complete the survey prior to June 27, 2023
