Butterfield Days
This past week many of our students and staff participated in Butterfield Days. Whether it was book day, team day or twin day, these pictures show the Butterfield School Spirit! Let's continue to celebrate a year of learning by participating in:
The 4th grade students participated in Camp Learned-A-Lot on Wednesday. During this camp-themed celebration of learning, students tested their engineering and problem solving skills by creating a solar oven to cook s'mores outdoors. Students also participated in a reading challenge inside their "tents", completed various math and literacy culminating activities, and sang campfire songs.
First graders were invited to school for our Wonderful Wednesday this past week. They engaged in activities such as base-ten BINGO, drawing and coloring a summer penguin, making animals with pattern blocks, and doing a seek and find. After visiting these stations in small groups, they joined the rest of the first graders for fun on the playground!
End of Year
We will have 2 material drop off days for all BF families. Materials that need to be returned are all Ipads and Chromebooks with chargers, specific classroom manipulatives, library books, or any additional classroom materials that your child may have used while at home. If your child is in school, we will collect their supplies, but for those students who are still remote, the drop off times are as follows:
Thursday, May 27, Last Day of School- 2:30pm-4:00pm
Friday, May 28, No School- 8:00am-4:00pm

Student Council Toiletry Drive
Student Council is sponsoring a Toiletry Drive to support the Winfield Ronald McDonald House! We will be collecting toiletries (ex: soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.) throughout the month of May. Donations may be sent to school with your child. You may also drop them off at the main office or during supply drop off. Thank you for your support!
2021-22 School Supply Order
If you are interested in pre-ordering School Supplies for the 2021-22 School year, please click on the order form. Paper orders and checks are due to Butterfield PTA by May 19 or online orders are due by May 31.
If you are on free/reduced lunch, please contact the office for additional information on how to order.
