Wilson Wins
WILSON WIN 3 - We were hit with some Margie Magic again as she created yet another project opportunity for our students. Margie challenged all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students to research Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and represent their new learnings in a creative way. Check out their hard work and celebrations!

Quarter 2 Grades for Gr. 1-5
Report Card memos and comment banks are placed in Teacher mailboxes. Here are a few highlights to remember:
- Reminder to go back to Q1 for all transfers in or Ss from Q1 who were given an Incomplete! They need a grade entered for EVERY Quarter (if you did not instruct during that Quarter, please duplicate the Q2 grade in Q1)
- Reminder that reg ed students cannot be below a 50 and SPED Ss cannot be below a 65
- Remember all SPED Ss need the comment #85 for all core subjects!
Ceremony of Excellence: Students of Q2
Our Ceremony of Excellence for Students of Quarter 2 will take place Friday, January 26th. Invitations to families for in person attendance have been placed in teacher mailboxes.
We made some revisions to the schedule, here are the updated times:
- 9:00 Ceremony 1 for grades K, 1, 2
- 9:45 Ceremony 2 for grades 3, 4, 5 and PreK (PreK whole class attendance is optional)
More info on logistics will be sent the day before. Thanks all!
Black History Month
Black History Month is around the corner! We welcome any and all ideas for celebration! Here are just a few resources to get you warmed up!
Locked Student Devices
A note from Tony, our IT guru;
Student devices are being locked due to students not having the proper device assigned to them. If a students devices is locked please send me in an email the following information:
- Students Full Name
- Students ID
- Laptop Asset Tag number (pink sticker) or if Pink Sticker is not available please provide me with the serial number

ALL NOMINATIONS DUE BY February 22nd
Demonstrates exemplary contributions to the profession, going above and beyond to bring positive change affecting culture and climate of the school community. *The candidate must have served as an administrator in district for at least three years.
Nominate a Teacher of the Year LINK here
Exemplary in the classroom and contributes to the school culture and community.
*must be a full-time contracted teacher in the district, with five (5) years teaching experience in the district and two (2) years of experience in that school, and should spend at least 51% of the time teaching in the classroom.
Nominate a Paraprofessional of the year - LINK here
Demonstrates skill and dedication in the performance of their job, thereby earning them the respect and admiration of students, teachers, administrators, and parents.
*The paraprofessional must have been employed by the District for at least three years.
Nominate Support Staff of the year - LINK here
Non-academic staff who serve our students positively affecting culture and climate of the school, going above and beyond for students. This is an opportunity to recognize those persons such as office staff, custodians, lunch aides, parent liaisons, and any other non-certified staff who work in our schools. *This individual must have been employed by the District for at least three years.
