So Much to Celebrate!
THANK YOU For your SUPPORT!
So many of you joined us at The Lone Girl on October 8th. It was a blast reconnecting with many of you, watching students and teachers make music and to witness the generosity of our arts-loving community. Special thanks to all of you who volunteered your time, especially our organizers, FORMATA board members, Angie Addison, Maggie Ziegler, Joni Nygard AND Kathy Bartling and the Freinds of Waunakee Performing Arts.
WE RAISED OVER $7000!!!
If you didn't get a chance, you can still donate to the Grand Piano Fundraiser here.
Thursday, November 2nd, 7 pm - WHS PAC
We are excited to host Doug Brown from Music Education Resources for a presentation called "How Music Plays a Role in College Admissions for Music and Non-Music Majors" on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 2 @ 7pm in the Waunakee High School PAC. Mr. Brown brings with him a wealth of knowledge on how students can stand out to colleges and universities by highlighting their music involvement and the opportunities they experience here in Waunakee. Mr. Brown will dive deep into not just HOW music education in Waunakee prepares them for life after high school, but also WHY. Please join us for this exciting and meaningful discussion!
Help Support our Young Musicians by donating to FORMATA
All families are members of the Waunakee FORMATA (Family Organization for Music and Theater Arts) by your student’s participation in our music programs. You can help support FORMATA through your financial as well as volunteer support.
Families that are able are encouraged to consider a donation of $25 per student for the 2023-24 School year. FORMATA assists with so much including helping to fund solo & ensemble festival, field trips, guest artists and collaborations, honors ensemble participation, scholarships, instruments and equipment. Our students' experience depends on the generosity of FORMATA and any and all donations are appreciated. Click below for more information
