The 1st two week of the 22-23 School Year have been amazing!
This week, we will begin our beginning of the year District assessments. Students will be assessed on their baseline skills in both ELA and Math. Our assessments will be administered on Tuesday, 8/16 and Thursday, 8/18. It is imperative that students are in attendance on these days. These assessments are not for a grade, however, it will help our teachers plan and meet the needs of our students as we gain foundational knowledge of what students already know and any skills they may need reteaching in. This data will inform how our teachers plan and better meet the needs of our students in our classrooms.
We are asking families to please review the dress code with their student(s). We appreciate your cooperation with this as we are seeing an increase in dress code violations (high school students) on campus. Please be mindful that "crop tops" and t-shirts/hoodies with inappropriate images such as alcohol or drug references are in direct violation of our dress code policy.
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE for any type of "vaping" on campus. If students are found in violations they will be suspended and/or expelled from school as our School Policy indicates. We are asking all families to discuss the consequences and harm that "vaping" can cause.
