Lobo Spotlight
Addalie Ingle is one of the most highly self-motivated students I have gotten to work with. She holds herself to a standard above that of what most teachers expect from their students. Her grades reflect this and she manages this achievement while performing as a Lobo cheerleader and competing in national cheer competitions in her personal life. Addie is the kind of kid I wish I saw more of! – Mr. Shelton
This is the second class that I have had Alex Martinez in. He works quietly, is always polite, helps others without being asked to, and turns in exceptional work. - Mr. St. John
Ashley Rivera serves as a prime example of a servant leader. She is an extremely hard worker in and outside of the classroom. She goes out of her way to help others in the many roles she serves within organizations on our campus. I have been extremely blessed to have her as a student and watch her grow as a leader and watch the way she inspires other students to step out of their comfort zone. - Mrs. Castilleja
I also want to congratulate our Students of the Month for January: Cambria Richardson and Daniel Gibson. They will be recognized at this week’s Board meeting.
All of these students – and others like them – exemplify the characteristics we strive for in the Portrait of a Lobo, described below. When students graduate from Little Elm High School with the tools to be responsible, confident, critical thinkers, creative, collaborative, communicative, adaptable, and emotionally intelligent, they are well-positioned for success!
**Congratulations to last week’s Campus Cup winners: Sophomores / Class of 2027**

Shattered Dreams
Attention All Grade Level Students!
We are thrilled to announce that while only the Junior class will attend the Shattered Dreams presentation this year, all students have the opportunity to get involved in impactful ways (see below):
1. Become Part of the “Living Dead” - On Wednesday, April 2, students will be symbolically removed from class by the Grim Reaper every 20 minutes, representing lives lost to alcohol abuse within a 24-hour period. Once the student is removed from their classroom, they will report to a designated area to have white makeup applied to their face, receive a custom Shattered Dreams t-shirt and become the "Living Dead". The student will report to each of their classes, without speaking or interacting with their peers or teachers. On Thursday, April 3, participants will be allowed to attend the Shattered Dreams presentation!
To be considered as a “Living Dead” participant, please submit a creative piece—such as a poem, letter, essay, or drawing—to the nurse’s clinic or Mr. Evans’s office (Room 2257b) expressing one or more of the following:
Why you would like to participate
How drunk driving has affected you or your family/friends
Motivational message to your peers to encourage positive behavior and healthy choices.
**Submit your admission by Feb 21 to Nurse Toni or Mr. Evans.**
2. Shattered Dreams T-Shirt Design - This is an opportunity to create artwork/drawing to be displayed on the Shattered Dreams T-Shirts!!! This shirt will be worn by the “Living Dead” and all that participate in the production. Your art work should represent the Shattered Dreams concept, have no more than 2 colors, and be signed by the artist. The entries will be voted on by the Shattered Dreams committee and the School Health Advisory Council (SHAC).
**If you would like to submit a drawing, please submit your drawing by Feb 14 to Nurse Toni or Mr. Evans.**
We look forward to your participation,
--
