Hello to the parents (guardians), community stakeholders, Anton Grdina staff, and scholars!

6th grade scholars in Mrs. Jones’s and Mr. Hall’s class have been researching and creating self portraits. The class began by researching whether “selfies” are bad for you. Scholars learned the earliest “selfies” were self portraits of artists.
During art class, Mr. Hall is teaching scholars how to create a self portrait. They are learning how to draw body parts and practicing sketching out portraits. The 6th graders are also writing an argumentative essay that explains why they think phones and “selfies’ are bad or not.
